Driver Comments

“A fantastic weekend, good pace throughout and I was surprisingly fast through the wet slippy stage being joint quickest with Champion Pinchin. Awesome stages, really fast and open but you really have to concentrate and listen to the notes, with BIG rocks inside. The car was perfect, and handled superbly, we are just lacking some power otherwise I feel we would be right up there. I really enjoyed the stages as they flowed beautifully. I am absolutely delighted to be leading 3 Championships and now need to maximise my experience from the last 2 rallys and hopefully push on to win the BTRDA, MG and Welsh National. Thank you to everyone that has helped so far!”

586 Sports Dominate MG’s at Quinton Stages 2009

On Saturday 4th July, 586 Sports maintained a strong 2 car team in the BTRDA rally series on the Quinton Stages.

It was a promising day for the 586 team, as they were 1st & 2nd in the MG Championship and came 3rd and 4th in the 1400cc category.

This therefore means that Callum is leading the BTRDA series with 2 rounds remaining, whilst also increasing his lead in the MG ZR Championship.

Here are some 586 Sports Video Footage of the Quinton Stages 2009.

Callum finished 3rd in the 1400cc category whilst father Steve finished 4th.
