586 Sports were approached by Top Gear magazine to build a front wheel drive, wide arch, WRC replica car from a standard Hyundai i20.
Following on from successful BTRDA outings, the i20 went on to win its class on Wales Rally GB with Top Gear Magazine editor Ollie Marriage at the wheel and Jack Morton co-driving.

586 have recently began work with a leading global gearbox manufacturer in relation to managing an investigation into used CVT gearbox assemblies in Europe.
Working predominately in the UK and Italy, the project started in March this year continuing over the next few months.

586 have now successfully met targets within the supplied deadline for a leading car manufacturer, for an impressive tenth year in a row.
Agents throughout Europe including UK, Italy, France, Germany and Spain have all been involved in sourcing vehicles and parts.
Our network has grown once again throughout Europe including new bases in the North of Germany, Central France and Italy.
We are looking forward to new projects in the near future which may include projects based in South Africa, extending our network further.
