586 Sports were approached by Top Gear magazine to build a front wheel drive, wide arch, WRC replica car from a standard Hyundai i20.

Following on from successful BTRDA outings, the i20 went on to win its class on Wales Rally GB with Top Gear Magazine editor Ollie Marriage at the wheel and Jack Morton co-driving.
