586 Sports Rally Team – Double Podium #4
Last months Nicky Grist Stages saw the 586 Sports team take their fourth consecutive double podium in the BTRDA 1400 Rally series.
With both directors Callum and Steve Black driving (an MG ZR and Suzuki Swift) they landed another fantastic double podium.
Callum had won the previous three rounds with Steve climbing onto the third step of the podium each time. However, Julys Nicky Grist stages saw the tables turn when Callum suffered fuel pressure issues when leading in stage 3 (of 6), dropping him down to 6th. Callum battled back up to 3rd, but couldn’t quite catch father Steve in his Swift.
The pair next head to the Woodpecker Stages, where Callum has the opportunity to wrap up the title.
