586 have recently began work with a leading global gearbox manufacturer in relation to managing an investigation into used CVT gearbox assemblies in Europe. Working predominately in the UK and Italy, the project started in March this year continuing over the next few months.

586 have commenced a data recording activity on behalf of a car manufacturer. We are using our new Influx data recorder units, which are recording driver data throughout Europe. We hope to complete the project by mid-March.

586 have successfully sourced, removed and shipped 100% of it’s targeted parts, ahead of schedule, for a European based project that started in September 2013. The work carried out included working in Germany, Spain, UK and Ireland.

586’s drivers returned last week from a weeks testing in Lisbon, Portugal. The drivers were working on behalf of a car manufacturer, carrying out R&D activities. 586 have supplied drivers for this activity for the past 4 years.
